We have a pretty busy weekend planned, but it should be a good one.
Yesterday my mom, Candace and I went to see a wedding planner in Plum Coulee. We went to see her about flowers for the wedding. I am very happy with what we all came up with in the end. This evening we have a Thanksgiving gathering with Matt's extended family. I'm also hoping to go pick up my ring today. If it's not back yet, I'm going to be SO mad!! We had gone to the store a week and a half ago to get my ring sized. I told them I needed it back for the weekend because we were going to be doing engagement pictures. She promised that my ring would be back in on Wednesday. Well they called me Wednesday while I was at the rink and said that they had just talked to their goldsmith and he doesn't feel comfortable sizing the ring that much because of the baguettes on the side. She said that they suggested the ring be sent to the manufacturer so that they can take out the center diamond (its a custom diamond) and put it into a size 5 ring. I was quite angry when she told me this because I was supposed to have my ring back already when she phoned. I explained to her that we have engagement pictures and I really need my ring. She said they would try to have it in the store on Friday and then after the weekend, I can bring it back and then they'll send it away and I'll have the right size back by the end of October! I was really not impressed! I'm just praying that they call me today and tell me I can pick it up!
Tomorrow we are going to Walhalla to a florist to get a quote on flowers from her and also see about renting some stuff for the wedding. In the afternoon we are doing engagement pictures (with a ring hopefully) and in the evening we are having Thanksgiving dinner with Matt's family. Sunday is a gathering with my extended family and Monday I might be taking family pictures for Matt's brother and his family.

**UPDATE** My prayers were answered... my ring is in and ready to be picked up!! Now I can breathe a sigh of relief!!

OH!! That would suck if you didn't have the ring for the pictures! Who's doing your pictures for you guys?
OH, engagement pictures! How fun! I wish we would have done that. Who is doing your pictures for you? Have you found a photographer for the wedding pictures yet? Sounds like your plans are all coming along nicely. Don't worry, three months is going to go by quickly. We can count down together. You for your wedding and me for my baby! :)
I hope your ring comes in today! Your finger must be feeling very lonely by now.
That's frustrating! But I'm sure it will all work out. Hope the engagement pictures go well.
And yes, 3 months will fly by, since Christmas is in between and that season always zooms by so quick. Have fun this weekend!
